Thinking about heading down on friday (18th). Wondering if anyone has been there this year yet and where my best bet for a nice smooth spot would be.

Hey Guys!!
A couple updates!
We mixed up the age groups a bit - adding two more age categories.
Guys 10 and under 11-14 15-17 18 and up
Girls under 14 (elementary) over 14 (high school)
- Prizes to top 3 in each category, we've got some pretty sick stuff in from the sponsors this year.
The weather is nuts out there right now!
Tomorrow is calling for sun and a high of 20 - a bit cooler than what we've been having but not tooo bad, and the water will be super warm! (75+ F right now)
Supposed to be windy tomorrow so expect some big waves, hopefully this will help form a nice spot for all, should make for a nice mix of flat land and waves.
However, as we all know, the weather in LP is super unpredictable so we'll see what happens!
For those of you that will be travelling a distance and wanna check up on the weather before you head out feel free to send me a text - shop doesnt open until 10 so if you plan on leaving before then feel free - 5194108624.
See you all tomorrow. ;D

Did anyone attend? How was it? Any pics? I went down to Port Stanley and it was pretty rough, winds heading right towards Long Point. Passed a couple of cars with surfboards (yes surfboards) strapped on them on my way home.

Hey Guys
- Suprisingly with the weather we had a great turn out today. - 75 competitors in total - the 18 and up category had 20 or so guys - the waves were MASSIVE and definitely surf worthy - we found a half decent spot, there were some 'puddles' that formed from the waves to make for some good flat land and then lots of opportunity to ride waves as well - all in all considering the weather it was a pretty good day - i took a ton of photos but they're all still on my camera, i'll see what i can do about getting some posted
Have a great weekend guys
